The Tampa Bay Technology Alliance (TBTA) is a charitable organization based in St. Petersburg, Florida. The TBTA is dedicated to giving assistance to the programs that are currently availble to enhance student's interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in a variety of ways.
We are supported by local companies in the area to give financial suppport to programs like the Youth Engineering Society (YES), FIRST Lego League (FLL), and For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST). We also try to help facilitate volunteering and mentorship of the students in the Tampa Bay Area through opportunities with YES, FLL, and FIRST. Tampa Bay Technology Alliance and Catalina Marketing will host a S.T.E.M.inar workshop on how to implement robotics and other S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) activities for students ages 6 through 18. The S.T.E.M.inar will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on May 16, 2009 at Catalina Marketing, 200 Carillon Parkway, St. Petersburg, FL. The seminar is free and open to the public.
There will be engaging activities for the students and informational sessions for individuals, schools and organizations who are, or would like to be, involved in Robofest, www.robofest.net

Tampa Bay Technology Alliance will host a seminar on how to implement robotics as part of enrichment for students ages 6 to 18. The seminar will be 10 a.m. to noon May 17, 2008 at Catalina Marketing 200 Carillon Parkway, St. Petersburg, FL. The workshop is sponsored by Catalina Marketing, TBTA and the YES-SECME Program of Pinellas County Schools. It is free and open to the public.
